The deep freeze
..is over. After many months I found more free time recently to continue developing this. Also got a bit better at programming and was able to compact most of the new weapon code to 25% of its size (Which is not much of a difference to the end-user but what the hell).
I spent also some time on tweaking weapon sound effects especially the different handling sounds when firing the makarov pistol. Because there is no HUD indicating when a gun is jammed or empty, you will be able to hear what state the gun is in. If the pistol is just empty you will be able to quickly identify that state by the (obvious) slide being locked back and a healthly *click* sound when attempting to shoot. A jammed weapon will produce a slightly different and very unnerving *click* with some added noise indicating something is wrong with the gun and you should unjam it.
